Turning years of a Bay Area reviewer's Google reviews into his own branded platform — with a real database and an admin portal that publishes from his phone.

The problem

Kamal is a Google Local Guide with years of thoughtful food, drink, and travel reviews — all locked inside Google's platform, unbranded, unsearchable as a body of work, and impossible to extend with his own photos and videos. He wanted a home of his own: "Perspectives through a prism. Experiences served on a platter."

The build

• Content rescue — his existing Google reviews were migrated into a proper database (Supabase), each preserved verbatim with a link to the original source. No invented content, ever.
• A real publishing system — a private admin portal where Kamal writes and publishes from his phone: photo uploads, embedded video, drafts, and a gold "Site Exclusive" badge for content that exists nowhere else.
• An upscale brand — dark, silver-and-gold identity built around a two-part mark: the crowned double-P monogram and the prism-on-platter emblem, both drawn from Kamal's own vision for the name.
• Built with AI, shipped in days — the platform went from first demo to a client-accepted admin portal in under a week of part-time work, using AI-assisted building end to end.

The result

A reviewer who used to donate his content to Google now publishes to his own branded platform, on his own domain, from his pocket. New reviews, exclusive photo essays, and video posts all flow through a system he controls.
